2015.10 team updates on students’ preparation in each city

Dear prayer partners:

2015.10 team is wrapping up the training and ready to leave for UK next month.  We like to thank you for your prayer support and love to share with you some updates on students’ preparation in each city:

Southampton:

The coworkers have been working very hard in preparing for our visit.  We can see their enthusiasm and passion from our correspondence and it has been very encouraging.   The main event for our weekend at Southampton is an evangelical meeting on Saturday night, where Pastor Ian will speak about Encountering with Christ.  Southampton coworkers have been putting together the program with the 3 student groups there (mandarin, cantonese, and english) which will include music and skits. We’ll also help them build up their coworkers by providing discipleship training through a weekend-long multisession course. We very much look forward to seeing these students and serving them and for we know that they are spiritually hungry.

Many of their more mature student coworkers have moved back to their own countries.  So please pray that God will continue to bring coworkers to their student fellowship so that it will continue to grow, and that those who go back to their countries may find spiritual families who will nourish them, and may they be a blessing to their respective communities.  As there are also a series of outreach events leading up to the evangelical meeting, please help them by praying for their group leaders so that they have wisdom and strength that comes from God.

Bournemouth

Co-workers look forward to working with us in sharing the gospel with the students at the Bournemouth University.

Bath

Our contact at Bath, Molly, hopes that our mission team can encourage their co-workers to be bold in serving.  They are also looking forward to the opportunity in sharing the gospel with the students at the University of Bath.

Plymouth

The brethren in Plymouth are very excited for our visitation.  We plan to have an evangelical gospel meeting on Friday evening.  Flyers had been created and promotion had started.  A lecture hall at University of Plymouth had been rented for this gospel meeting as we had invited many new students to hear the gospel.

We also plan to visit restaurant owners/workers on Friday afternoon.  Four of us will be teamed up with brethren to do visitation.  They would like to learn the method of personal evangelism with us.

Bristol

Brethren are longing for our visitation.  Five sections of disciple training, a gospel meeting, worship service and a seminar training are scheduled during our two days visit.  They are expecting to experience the spiritual revival and advancement with Selon Mission team.
